Madhavendra Bhandari is a lecturer at the School of Optometry, UCSI University. He holds an MPhil in Optometry from Elite School of Optometry, India, and has been a registered member of the Malaysian Optical Council since 2011. He is a graduate supervisory committee member of the Faculty of Health Science at UKM. Bhandari has extensive work experience in the field of optometry, having served as a Clinical Optometrist at I-Care Eye hospital, a Research Optometrist at Sankara Nethralaya, and as a lecturer at Twintech International University College of Technology before joining UCSI University in 2016. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals and presented research posters at international conferences. Bhandari is currently involved in three on-going projects on preclinical retinopathy and dry eye symptoms in Malaysia adults, funded by UCSI, SEGI and UKM grant respectively.
