Dr. Durgasri Jaisankar is a highly accomplished postdoctoral researcher, specializing in lens design and development. She obtained her PhD from the esteemed Queensland University of Technology in Australia in 2021, and has since been employed as a research professional at the renowned Brien Holden Vision Institute in Australia.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Jaisankar completed her Bachelor's degree in Optometry and Vision Science at the prestigious Elite School of Optometry in India in 2014. Following this, she worked as a research fellow under the tutelage of Dr. Rajiv Raman at the Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, before embarking on her PhD.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Dr. Jaisankar has made significant contributions to her field, with her research findings appearing in several top-tier scientific journals. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and expressing her artistic flair through various mediums.
